Jewel is an Architectural and Interior designer at TOA, Tāmaki Makaurau Office Architecture. 

Jewel is from the Hokianga in the far north and has a strong connection between herself and her local community. She believes in a collaborative design approach by engaging with communities and clients as projects become more meaningful. 

Along with a fresh perspective, Jewel brings an abundance of positivity and creativity to the TOA team and believes that design should be constantly evolving while ensuring the values and cultural identities are maintained. She is passionate about learning more about her Māori heritage and believes it is important for every project to incorporate the Te Aranga Māori design principles. Jewel is of Ngāpuhi, Te Rarawa Ki Hokianga, Ngati awa, Maniapoto, Tainui and Ngāi Tūpoto.
