Sarai Nathan

Spatial Designer

Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara, Ngāpuhi, Tainui ōku iwi. 

Gaining experience in both New Zealand and 4 years in Melbourne, Australia, Sarai has spent the past 6 years refining her knowledge in the commercial Architecture space.

During her time with TOA, she has assisted on an interior fit-out project for the Starship Foundation’s research centre Whiti Ora. Assisted with kauapapa Māori design for the Auckland Light Rail project and the new-build of a papakāinga for Ngāti Toa in Porirua.

Sarai has a wide range of experience on educational and healthcare projects, having spent time working with the Victorian School Building Authority and RMIT University in Melbourne, Victoria. This ranged from small to large projects from primary education through to tertiary education.
